Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and stakeholder needs, including document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various DOD stakeholders and produce useful reports
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Perform detailed analysis by outlining problems, reconciling conflicts, identifying opportunities, and documenting solutions
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that can be implemented by developers and tested by QA
  • Create process models, workflows, specifications, diagrams, charts and user stories to provide direction to developers, product, and QA
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
  • Create User Acceptance Test (UAT) Cases, facilitate UAT support and mitigate issues that arise during UAT
    Provide coaching and/or training sessions for other individuals and teams within the program


  • 5 or more years’ experience with gathering and analyzing business requirements
  • Must have experience working simultaneously with multiple stakeholders, sponsors, and business partners, exhibiting an ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Proven ability to communicate and provide support to both the business and technology team members in challenging technical, custom and Government projects
  • Must have strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to support multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience developing business requirements, user stories, functional designs, process maps, user test plans and training materials associated with business process and technology solutions
  • Ability to succeed in a collaborative, agile development work environment and present business cases to the leadership team
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, flow charts and Jira/Confluence


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • CBAP certification a plus

Clearance:  Able to obtain a DoD Public Trust Clearance
